Primordial Passion
“Primordial Passion” is the Maison’s first watch and represents a milestone in artistic creation. It perfectly blends advanced innovative techniques with traditional classical aesthetics. Known for its exquisite jewelry, medals, coin reliefs, figurines, miniature sculptures, and handcrafted filigree, the brand has built a spiritual bridge between past and future. Through tireless work and dedication to quality and authenticity, Pirro has become a national pride and a custodian of ancient Albanian culture. Meticulously designed and manufactured in-house, Pirro’s “Primordial Passion” embodies everything the brand stands for: heritage, artisanal skill, and precision. As Mr. Pirro aptly puts it: “I want to measure time with timeless beauty by creating artistic and unique watches that transcend their functionality and become lasting works of art.”
Enclosed under an anti-reflective sapphire crystal dome, this watch is a true technical marvel requiring exceptional expertise. The dial features twelve Albanian folk dancers marking the hours. Each figure is crafted from 18-carat yellow gold and represents twelve regions with unique and diverse regional embroideries. These micro-figures, measuring nine to ten millimeters in height, display hyperrealistic details and preserve the originality of sculptural art.
The central fixed mechanical movement, developed in collaboration with Geneva-based watchmaker Agenhor, enables the assembly of this complex composition. Beneath the black onyx Pirro emblem, four 18K gold instrumentalists sit within the black gold eagle sculpture. The two-tone hour hands, shaped like eagle talons in black and yellow 18K gold, indicate the hours and minutes. The dial features a diverse artistic micromosaic in a red and black gradient of Murano glass stones, consisting of 1,500 stones in eight different colors and 64 cuts, the smallest just 0.2 millimeters in size. The gradient and brand texture are carefully adapted to indicate the hours, with a fine gold geometric pattern forming the Pirro brand motif. The case back reflects this artistry, with folk dancers engraved in micro-relief.
Innovative Craftsmanship
Due to the specific requirements and technical challenges of this complex project, the Maison invested in the latest state-of-the-art Swiss manufacturing technology to create this exceptional masterpiece. All gold components, including the figurines and case, were crafted in-house by Pirro, demonstrating the unparalleled craftsmanship that only Pirro can provide. “Primordial Passion” breathes life into art, history, and tradition through its superb design and state-of-the-art craftsmanship.
